ROMAN SILVER DENARIUS - GETA -

A superb sharp example of this silver denarius of Geta who was co Ruler of the Roman Empire before being murdered by his brother Caracalla ,all coinage of Geta was melted down along with all visible traces he ever lived , obviously some were missed but this fact makes the coinage of Geta much more scarce than that of Caracalla , reverse has Geta holding globe and short sceptre , 3.4g in weight

Sold on Ebay on 17th October 2006 for £37.50
