ANCIENT GREEK SILVER TETRADRACHM -ALEXANDER THE GREAT



















A well detailed example of this ancient Greek silver tetradrachm of Alexander the Great , possibly minted Tarsos ? 336 - 323 BC , portrait of Herakles wearing lion skin headdress , reverse has Zeus seated , 15.9g in weight and 23mm across.

Sold on Ebay on 6th October 2006 for £93
